My sister, Shana Paris received a grant from Harleys Helping Hands in the Winter of 2025. It came at a time when she truly needed it.
At the age of 50, Shana was a vibrant, healthy, and active woman who ran marathons. She was a friend to all and was a strong woman who always helped others in need. She was diagnosed with Glioblastoma in October of 2023. She has had 3 brain surgeries, and undergone radiation, chemo, and multiple amounts of treatments. It has been a very difficult journey for Shana and her two children, Jake and Bella.
In November 2024, Shana had to stop working. The same week that we found out Shana had to stop working, I was contacted by a former colleague of mine who had heard about my sister’s journey, and he had contacted HHH on our behalf. HHH was able to help offset lost wages that my sister now had due to this devastating disease.
We can’t thank HHH enough for l this amazing organization, to help individuals like Shana help deal with the costs associated with Brain Cancer.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart to all the amazing donors that have given to Harleys Helping Hands. You have made it possible for them to give these generous gifts to individuals who have had their lives impacted by brain cancer, like my sister.
Much love and thanks from myself, Shana, and her family,
