2015 Grant Recipient

  • "I am a truck driver just starting a career in trucking Business and a father of 2 young boys. I was diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor last March 2014, I underwent series of chemo treatments and 2 surgeries in the same year having an aggressive type of brain cancer that keeps growing back even when removed. Since then the battle of life started, it was a devastating thought to the whole family about this health issue that affected us. It's not easy to get through this situation even having the best surgeon and oncologist team of doctors that until now I'm still fighting for dear life for the kids and the family. When we moved to University of Illinois at Chicago in search for other options we met a representative of American Brain Tumor, she was so kind to help us and introduced us to Harley foundation who are helping patients having my case. We are happy and thankful to Harley Helping Hands foundation and and to Nerissa for the help, I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to Harley foundation and hoping and praying more will be helped by this foundation in years to come. With such big amount, it will help us with our finances having my wife as the only breadwinner.

0n behalf of my family,we would like to thank your foundation, Harley Helping Hands for such great help. May the Good Lord continue to Bless your foundation."
