I was diagnosed with a Grade 4 Anaplastic Astrocytoma in February 2013, at age 24. With a newborn son, a large supportive family, and a small community rallying behind me, I always felt supported and loved through the cancer-fighting process. When I received news that we would receive a grant from Harley Helping Hands, it gave me hope that we would be fine and it gave me extra strength to keep fighting.
